In general, xProtect supports the majority of BMW G-Series vehicles out there. For specific information on your car, please head to our website and use the Support Check

✅ Supported:

• G-Series BMWs (AG vehicles until around the end of 2025 & ///M cars until now)

❌ Not supported:

E-Series & F-Series BMWs (for now), other car brands

You can check whether your vehicle is supported directly in the xProtect App under “Check Support” or on our Website’s Support Check Feature.

Overview

How to Check if Your Car Is Supported

You can check vehicle support in several ways:

Option 1: Use the “Support - Check ” features built into the xProtect App

1. Open the xProtect App on your device.

2. Tap “Support” in the bottom sheet.

3. Choose from the available options to check support locally:

   1. Connect to the car, using a compatible adapter, like the xA Ultra.

   2. Enter the full VIN of your vehicle.

   3. Search our database by selecting vehicle generation, transmission type, etc.

   4. Scan your car’s VIN to look up support for your car.

Option 2: Check Support Online

If you prefer to search offline:

1. Go to our Website’s Support Check Feature.

2. Enter your car’s full VIN.

3. If you see the xProtect products available for your car, it is supported.

4. If nothing is listed, your car is not yet supported.
